What we check
Twelve checks, one by one
These are exactly the ones we apply to every site we build. No coloured scores without explanation: each point comes with what we found and what it means for your business.
01
One H1 per page
The H1 tells Google what the page is about. Nine of them, or none, and it has to guess.
02
Unique title under 62 characters
It is the blue line people click in the results. Past 62 characters Google cuts it off mid-word.
03
Meta description that sells
The two lines under the title. Empty or too long and Google writes them for you, usually badly.
04
Structured data (JSON-LD)
What makes your address, hours and reviews readable by machines. Without it you cannot reach the map pack.
05
Canonical URL
Stops the same page competing against itself under several addresses.
06
Real mobile rendering
We load your site in an emulated iPhone at 390 px, not just check for a viewport tag. Most audits stop at the tag.
07
Page weight and speed
Every extra second costs visitors, and in Google Ads a slow page raises what you pay per click.
08
Alt text on images
Without it your photos are invisible to Google and to anyone using a screen reader.
09
Two languages, done right
Reciprocal hreflang and the correct lang attribute. Spanish content declared as English is a common and costly error.
10
Sitemap and robots.txt
What you are telling Google to read, and what you are accidentally telling it to ignore.
11
Google Business Profile and NAP
Name, address and phone identical everywhere. One mismatch weakens your whole local signal.
12
Broken links
We check every internal link on the site. One dead link on a quote page is a lost job.
Measured data
Almost no site passes all twelve
We ran these checks against the 15 sites in our own portfolio in September 2026. This is what came back, our own work included.
- 1 de 15
- had a correct meta description
- 6 de 15
- had no structured data at all
- 4 de 15
- were missing a canonical URL
- 172 KB
- average page weight
We publish the numbers from our own sites because an honest audit starts at home. If your site fails several of these, you are not the exception — you are the norm.
How it works
Three steps, two days
- 1
You give us your website address
That is all. No logins, no passwords, no card.
- 2
We check it by hand
We run the twelve checks and open it in an emulated iPhone. It is not an automated PDF from a tool.
- 3
We call you and walk you through it
Within two business days. What is broken, what is fine, and what we would fix first.
What everyone asks
- Is it really free? What is the catch?
- There is no catch. The audit costs us a couple of hours and it is the best way we know to show we know what we are doing. If you then want us to fix what we found, we quote it. If not, you keep the report and owe us nothing.
- What if my site is fine?
- We tell you so and sell you nothing. It has happened. We would rather do that than invent problems: a client who finds out they were sold smoke does not come back, and they tell people.
- Do I need to give you access to my site?
- No. Everything we measure is visible from the outside, the same way Google sees it. No username, no password, no hosting access.
- Does it work if someone else built my site?
- Yes, and that is the usual case. The audit is about the site, not about who built it. You do not have to leave your current provider either — you can take the report to them.
- Do you work in Spanish?
- Yes. We are a New York company working in both languages. We call you in whichever you prefer.
It takes a minute. It can save you months.
If you would rather talk before writing anything, call us. We answer ourselves.
Or see the sites we have built.
