We are a software company in New York
SMARTUZ LLC is registered in New York State under NAICS code 511210 — software publishers. That is not a marketing label, it is what we do. We build systems, and websites are one part of that work rather than the whole of it.
Why bilingual matters here
New York has more than two million Hispanic residents and tens of thousands of businesses owned by Spanish speakers. Most agencies either ignore that market or run their English site through a translator and call it done.
We write each language separately, because a customer can tell the difference in one sentence. Your English page has to convince a homeowner in Long Island. Your Spanish page has to convince a business owner in Queens. Those are two different arguments, not one argument translated.
What we build
Custom software: internal systems, client portals and tools built around a company's real process. When the problem no longer fits in a spreadsheet, and buying a generic product would mean changing how you work, that is where we come in.
We have two products of our own in production, which is the difference between saying we can build software and showing it:
- MenuCloud — restaurant point of sale: table orders, kitchen display, register and electronic invoicing. Designed and coded in house.
- IspWeb — a management platform for internet service providers: subscribers, plans, billing cycles, installations and support.
We also build websites and online stores, and then do the unglamorous work that makes them findable: information architecture, local search signals, Google Business Profile, page speed, and the accessibility requirements that apply to commercial sites in New York. Digital marketing is a service we offer, not the business we are in.
What our CEO works on
Christian Zhiminaicela leads development. Alongside systems engineering and application development, he works in:
- Data analytics and big data — turning the data a company already generates into decisions somebody can act on.
- Applied enterprise AI — where it earns its keep: classifying, extracting, reading documents. Not where it only makes noise.
- Process automation with n8n — taking the repetitive work between tools off people's hands.
- Blockchain — an area of knowledge and research. We say it that way, rather than as a service with case studies, because we have not yet delivered a blockchain product to a client. When we do, it will appear in the portfolio with a name and a link.
How we work
- Fixed price, agreed before we start. You know the number before you commit.
- You own everything. Domain in your name, full access to the site, source files delivered. No agency should hold your business hostage.
- We say no. If ads are not the right move yet, or if your current site is worth keeping, we tell you — even when it costs us the sale.
- Real numbers only. We publish results when we have measured them, and stay quiet when we have not.
